A few days ago ... i did not want this to happen ... but a lot can change in a few days in Llanlaaand .

Lets make this one a good thread ... lets all be happy and meet up for group hugs when things are not going well ... we should be there for each other in times of need.

Poker is all about PERSEVERANCE AND HARD WORK ... ITS ABOUT BELIEF AND REACHING LONG TERM GOALS ...

I AM GOING TO PROVE THAT TILT IS NOT EVEN REAL, ITS JUST A WORD THAT PLAYERS USE AS A EXCUSE FOR THEIR LACK OF EFFORT IN TRYING TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS.

I wont be playing much this month ... i have a shed load of work to complete but i will have a lot more time come February..

Ive also joined up to a poker training program with a high stakes player ...im hoping the extra effort i put into that will give me some more determination and focus for the year ahead.

Im basically going to shock everyone this year.

Took a couple of whacks last night with turned flushes that got beat by boats ....i think my river shove on the 2nd one was probably a mistake ... but live and learn and all that.

Been playing the $14-$16 ( 10e ) tables on Prima with a bankroll of around $300 ..

To me thats a touch too much because the 6 max tables on their seem kinda swingy ...ive only played a few hundred hands and i was up $26, then level, then back upto $32, then back to level again

Having 10% swings in my bankroll every 150 hands or so is not ideal for me

So ive dropped down to the $6-$7 ( 4e ) tables just to play for some fun whilst im busy with work ..

Its seems much easier to remove $5 off a player at these levels than it is to take $5 off a $10 FR player on Stars ..

Hopefully i can build the little roll up with my infrequent sessions on Prima for a while ... although i am keeping one eye on the new ipoker software developments ..

It would be great if ipoker updated to some decent software ... the timing is perfect for them right now .... they would get a shed load of business off the Stars disgruntled nitty grinders if they finally gave us decent software.

Well ... he mentioned AK .. and well .. thats like a red rag to a bull innit !!

Another thing he started to discuss was table selection ..

I know its been mentioned before ... but when i mass table FR ... i prefer to play against nitty types.

Ive opened my game to bully these types .. and i think i can call their preflop raises with speculative hands because my implied odds are good .. basically means they fold too much and then dont fold their big hands when met with aggression post flop .... seems like a win win scenario for me ... but maybe thats not the case .

I just dont see that many fish on the FR tables ... to me a fish is a tight player ... i am considering mass tabling 6 max because there are more fish on these tables and my table selection options would change somewhat ..

Although I wont sully the positive nature of this thread by adding my opinion of a player who called a 3 bet OOP with Q7o..............
