f*** you Stars ..

Again ..about 3 minutes before my KK is done by TJo ..standard TJx flop .

Throw in just missing every single flop .. and watching people just improve hand after hand ..

I was 3 bet about 10 times ... i only played 300 hands FFS .. and not a single one of them had a 3bet stat over 1.5 ... NOT EFFING ONE .

Stars just will not stop trying to stick on up my arse ...

fek it .. im done with all this poker BS ...

Im retired from the internet forums for a while ... im going to get out into the welsh fresh air and bollocks to all this ..

Is stopped playing for a couple of days and really REAAAAAAAAALLY tried to think about what the hell im doing wrong.

I read a ton of articles, made a load of notes, read a lot of strategy threads ..basically every scenario you can imagine ..

My whole idea was to just play the player and almost ignore the cards ... i promised myself that i would just play each hand to the best of my ability and sod what happens ..

I fired up some tables last night ... and it went badly ..

It all started when i 3 bet a EP raiser with TT in MP, not something i like to do on a FR table but it was part of a new approach in how to play certain hands against certain types ..

He called, i saw a 3 bet flop in position as the aggressor ... good start .. the flop was , a good flop for me, so i cbet and he called, the turn was a , again he checked and i fire again, he called, the river was a and he checks again, i check and he shows .

My ideas before i started was to just play each hand as well as i could and not to care about the result .. and this was a great example, because as far as i can see, i did not put a foot wrong in this hand and i ended up losing 54bb's and as far as i can see, villian played it badly..

For a while ... i kept to that thought process but it rankled that he just had to turn a spade to improve his equity .. so he called a big turn bet ... its common knowledge that i moan about never improving post flop and have to stomach this type of hand all too often .

Now the hand in itself is not really a big hand and not really much of a cooler , i should take some positives out of the hand even ... but i allowed it to bother me and then as soon as Grim went on the offensive by just constantly giving me 2 pair on really dangerous flops and almost always coming off the worst of it ... i just plain lost my rag and played 2 hands pretty damn badly which turned out to be costly.

I actually insta closed all the tables at once after spewing a stack when i really should have folded a big 2 pair ... and honestly never wanted to see Stars on my computer again.

Ive played 2430 hands this month and down 4 buy ins ... actually down 9 buy ins over the last 3.5k hands .. and Stars just continues to pound the crap out of me.

For a while last night ... i actually gave up and admitted im shit ... then i grew some balls and said ..FFS, just stop allowing individual hands to totally fek up a session ... just play right .

I can honestly say my game is the most complete its ever been ... my thought processes are good, but the results are just not coming and im allowing myself to get frustrated ..

I need to be more patient and learn to fold even though it feels like i deserve a friggin break and for this hand to hold up one time ....poker is just not like that ...

I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO ALLOW MYSELF TO CARRY ON LIKE THIS....im really at a point where something will either click into place or i stop for good ... then will really be no in between anymore.

The idea that i would turn my back on ITH when i feel im that close to turning things around is ludicrous ....only a utter moron would do that ... and im many things but not one of those .

Sad news about Jack Wilcox on 2+2 being killed in a motorbike accident on Sunday. He was a 22 yr old professional poker player and had just moved to Phuket. I used to talk poker with him on Skype and despite never meeting him he came across as a nice guy. I chatted to him last week about how he was getting on in Thailand and he was loving his time there.

Bad beats seem pretty insignificant upon hearing news like this.

Well .. it had to happen eventually ..

After another debacle of a session ... ive withdrawn from Stars and have already unistalled from my computer .. it will never go back.

Im going to spend the rest of my days just playing 6 max poker playing a max of 6 tables ..

Stars has great software etc ... but i run like absolute dog shit every time i sit there ...

Im going to find a nice little site to play out my days .. any recommendations ?

Put my last $250 into 32Red and will try and grind the mega micros to try and earn as much of the sign up bonus / RB i can at such a low level.

At least i can play the beginner tables

Just going to 4 - 6 table the SH tables from now on ... mass tabling for me is over ... im going to concentrate on watching the table dynamics and looking for fishy types ..

At least this might bring back some fun into poker .. and ill be looking to build my roll ... dont care how long it takes .. just going to be playing for the enjoyment from now on..

Mass tabling FR on Stars just does not work for me on many levels ... i just dont feel comfortable on Stars anymore ...i really have a innate distrust with what i go through on there ..

With such a small roll .. there is no reason for me to play on Stars as they just dont reward these players ... 4 tabling and being creative somewhere else is a much better option ... hopefully move up a level soon.

Got to try and play a bit for a month as that when the bonus is on offer..

Probably ... but its marginal .. .. i just have to find a way to enjoy poker again ... i seem to be fighting with myself over this game ... i have to find peace somehow !!

I actually think playing 4 tables of 6 max is going to help me ... it does go against what i believe to be right for me ... but obviously what i think is right seems to be very wrong because its not working

I just have to make the change ... im actually feeling quite positive .. its actually a relief to not be playing on Stars and mass tabling full ring.. i can honestly say its not much fun when i do that ... poker just has to be fun again...

Note to self : Stop bluffing to rep really dodgy boards when people have overpairs ... they just do not fold TT+ on even the scariest boards.

Ax again the bane of my life .. cannot win with it and its the flop magnet when im playing against it.

W$SD% is 22.2% .. which is now the standard for the last 8 sessions ..

Its all fun though ...i dont mind losing money if they just refuse to fold ... just have to tweak my game a little.

Just going to grind and hopefully get my roll to say $500 before moving up a level.

The 4e tables are roughly $6.80 but the next level is about $15 and $250 is just not enough for me to play that level comfortably ....

Bloody hell ..

Ive got a individual last 16 snooker match tonight ( best of 5 ) and this morning i nearly went arse over tit off the 2 steps leading into my back garden due to the ice ..

I was carrying a load of bottles for the recycling ! so i had to somehow land on my feet ... i just about managed it but ive done something to my calf muscle ... and its on my snooker standing leg so to speak !

Deep heat here i come ....

Im on life tilt right now ... my effing tip came off at the start on the 2nd frame .. i had to use a stick off the rack that had hardly been looked at in years ...trying to put chalk on that tip was pointless.
