I have decided to break off my nightly sng's for a while. I usually will play at least one...If I feel I played well and just got sucked out on, then I am happy with just the one. Otherwise, maybe one more.

Starting tonight, I am not going to play any sng's for the month of march. I will only be playing .05/.10 limit on stars, probably 2 tables to keep my interest and focus. 2 hours min each weekday night and hopefully some on weekends. Probably $10 on each to start. I am very curious to see what effect this will have on the leaky faucet that is my bankroll.

I am going to look into how to start a new HEM database to track just these sessions. I have a few thousand hands already logged so I would like to keep the results separate from my existing stats. I am not the sharpest knife...anyone have tips on how to do this? I will also be going to the HEM forums to look it up...

@Llan I thought of you when I wrote that and wondered if you would say something...and you and janeg are correct, 4 tabling might be better. I'll start out at 2 and see how things go. Think I've only 4 tabled a few times and found it a bit much...Plus, im playing on a laptop which makes it a bit harder, only so many inches to work with....(don't go there..ya, I set myself up..)

So much for the No SnG aspect of the madness. I think maybe I will ammend my rules to allow sng's on the weekend.

In a bad downswing in the cash game so I thought I would take a break....

Played 3 sng's on UB (I have money on there from way back and I just goof around)

1st for $79.xx ($11 27man)
2nd for $36.xx($6 18man)
and a FT but no cash.

Just about doubled the roll in 3 sng's... Woot!

It really is crazy. I've been playing for 2 hours now and have barely a BB profit. 2 Tables.

You can't get anyone off a hand.

I'm not tilted by any means...but it is mind boggling what players stay in with. And it hits. It always hits.

Sets mean almost nothing in this world. They are merely well disguised chum.

I'm half tempted to play nothing but trash and stay to the end regardless. Play the crap because it will crack any decent hand playing.

OK ... ive hardly played lately ... which is kinda annoying as i think im playing my best poker in ages ... there must be something wrong with me if i cannot motivate myself to play when im playing well ...
