Thank God for 53o

I needed to catch a hand like this. This was one of those $2 buy-in 18 player SNGs on Full Tilt. Obvious iso-raise pre-flop and of course I'm pushing over his donk bet on the flop :P

This hand brought me back to about what I started with in chips and I went on to take first 8)

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 2.25 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 (t1215)
Hero (MP2) (t735)
CO (t3480)
Button (t2280)
SB (t1470)
BB (t1500)
UTG (t1500)
UTG+1 (t1320)

Hero's M: 16.33

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with :3h, :5c
2 folds, MP1 calls t30, Hero bets t120, 4 folds, MP1 calls t90

Flop: (t285) :kh, :6d, :4c (2 players)
MP1 bets t240, Hero raises to t615 (All-In), MP1 calls t375

Turn: (t1515) :7c (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t1515) :7s (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t1515

Results:
MP1 had :ts, :ks (two pair, Kings and sevens).
Hero had :3h, :5c (straight, seven high).
Outcome: Hero won t1515

You shouldn't be raising just to isolate with ATC from MP as you'll often end up OOP in a multi way pot. Save the move for when you're in the cutoff or preferably the button.

You're also too short stacked for the play. Raising 4X pre and the c betting is going to cost you about 10BB of your 24BB stack if it doesn't work. It's not like the pot is even worth stealing at this stage.

If you were raising 53o for value then the play is OK.

LOL, this whole hand was a complete joke. It was a cheap tournament and i was just trying to have some fun with it. Actually, I think this hand helped me a little bit to go on to win it... everybody at the table figured me for a complete moron after this hand!

I would never iso-raise with ATC. Unless I have 53o and just want to fool around. After I flopped the OESD, I just had to push... I was thinking, hey, is I win this one I can post it on ITH
