I don’t think I have ever done anything other than see 53o for free from the BB or complete it from the SB with lots of limpers. But after being part of the winning mafia team that successfully tricked the town in Game 16, some sort of switch must have been turned on deep inside me. This hand comes from one of my very first sessions after the conclusion of #16.

With the SB donking the Turn and the BB calling bets on every street so far, I’m amazed I mustered up the moxie to take the lead again on the River.

Alas, I’ve simmered down now. I should probably make it a habit to read a half-hour’s worth of the #16 gamethread or den thread before I sit down to play poker.
