What's the formula...

Postby Da_Big_Fish » Sep 21 2008

...for the equation that tells you that at whatever level you are playing how much you can expect to win/lose? Is it Standard Deviation? Can someone link or post how to figure that out?

Thanks,

Kinda sort, but I don't know how to calc the Std Deviation it wants. Is it possible for live games or is this only for playing online?

I just want to have a number that tells me what I stand to win or lose during a session.

Do you have Poker Tracker?

In PT2 it was in Sessions/More Detail (it's called Standard Deviation/100).

Not sure where it is in PT3.

If you want to know more here is a Linky on Standard Deviation at Bet The Pot. They explain how to calculate it manually (so yes it can be calculated for live poker, but you will need lots of sessions).
