What is the worst possible flop to see if you hold :ah :as?

I was thinking :jc :qc :kc, but that at least gives you a gut-shot...

That seems about right. Did some quick PokerStove calculations...

Of course, this exercise in a vacuum only has marginal implications when applying it to an actual game. Your opponent(s) range is going to be just a crucial a factor as the board is.

My aces only have 60% equity vs. Chris' board :shock:

Doesn't mean that I've ever toss em :wink:

Well that's not exactly true. It is true, or course, if you just randomly assign a player two cards out the remainder of the deck. But if you are getting action here then you a likely in trouble.


You get any action and villain probably has
a set or some sort of straight+pair, flush+pair, SF draw or made straight or flush or PP with a flush draw. Geez, makes me shudder.

Hawk is right too. Flop is Q53. Beware of a set or the dreaded 53o if you get any action.
