I have Matthew's book .. texas holdem odds & probabilities. I now realize after losing alot of money that I can never be a good player if I dont know and understand odds and probabilities. I am not great at math, but, I am a smart person who is willing to work hard.

I like to play nlhe full ring cash and tournaments online. But, I have stopped playing until I learn much more than I presently know.

My main concern is learning the numbers that I can use at the table to make the right decisions without my head exploding.

I am glad to be here and ready to work.

A friend also recommended this book to me - he is a real freek when it comes to odds and numbers. Not sure how much I will get into that tough!
