Back around with my filthy little hands out, looking to drum up interest in another run @ some PL/NL O8 magic!
This time I'd like to do things a little bit different, but it will open up the BIs that can be played for the next month. I'm asking for a $1500 Bankroll (BR) stake to play for the next month in the PLO8 and few NLO8 tourneys on Stars/FTP (maybe here and there on AP as well). The split would be 70/30 after stakeback in favor of the backers, with a 65/35 split on anything over $1k in profit. Here are the guidelines I propose for tourney play as I'd be playing with a BR fronted by you all, so we should be on the same page for tourneys I'd play in:
- - No Turbos(including Hypers), Max BI $44 (majority of online tourneys are $22 and under, so focus will be there) ($10R&A can go up to $51)
- Shots at $215 seat okay (max $60 a week on sats) -- The $215 is a 30k gtd on Stars every Saturday. There is one on Sun that's NLo8 and it has a 25k gtd pool.
- Strive to play a minimum of 20 tourneys a week (can probably do more, but need to be conservative considering work/school/time restraints)
- Play for the duration of one month. After a month, we assess the roll and decide where to go from there.
Over the last few years I've been LaxStarr1995 and Stacyb98 on Stars (the Stacy is my wifes acct that I play on to clear bonuses here and there for her... currently using that account). I've also used Stacyb98 and LaxStarr on FTP. Giving you these names so you can OPR me yourself, but after I look at all of my play on those sites, I see my ROI to be ~ 22% over 295MTTs. This sample size is virtually nothing, but I believe I am a winner. We've had success in the past, and I'm hoping to do so again for us now. This is just the best way for me to get the sample size up, keep focused, and keep my own funds from being risked while doing so (admittedly quite nitty).
Constructive criticism is highly recommended here if you have other ideas for me. If you're interested, go ahead and let me know, and I"ll start locking up spots for you.
