Gauging interest in backing for live game

Postby blah730235 » Sep 14 2010

As some of you know I made a post awhile about backing in some online cash games. There was some interest but I ended up dropped back to playing online poker 1-2 hrs a week and didn't feel right asking for staking at that rate. I picked up playing live bar donkaments with moderate success. (8$ for food is a huge rake when first place only gets 50$ and a small 10-20$ last longer is going) I didn't care to much about profit as live play is about a million times more fun for me than grinding 8 tables on stars and hud-botting.

Anyways I've networked with a few of the guys there and I've been invited to a 1-2 NLHE no rake, 200$-400$ Buy-in cash game, which I am way under-rolled for.

The game looks like it might be incredibly juicy as well. The two players that invited to me whom play regularly play a 30/5 type style. I have debated these guys (stupidly & accidentally) several times on whether or not you should limp your SB with ATC if its folded around to you. I was also told that the game gets a bit rowdy as a few of the guys have drinking problems. :D

If there's interest in setting up a deal I'm going to go take a single bullet (200$) from my roll and go to the game in the next couple weeks. Then if it looks juicy and not to schetchy we can get some stakes rolling. I would plan on playing there weekly.

Let me know...
