The World Series of Roshambo Events 2-8 are postponed. There was too much going on with WSOP, etc. to run those events properly, so I am postponing them until the opportunity arises for more participation. (We may even save an event or two and do them live at the ITH CON.)
Nside will get his bracelet for his WSOR Event 1 win in Las Vegas in early July. Hopefully it will bring him luck in the WSOP ME.
Side betting on the WSOP continues. Unfortunately ITHers have not had as much luck in the WSOP as we'd all hoped so far, so the scores for the side betting are just trickling in. The up side to that is that no one has an insurmountable points lead in the 53offsuit side betting competition at this point, so if you were thinking about jumping in late and joining the fun and competition then you still have a shot at taking down the overall!
Something cool: Nside currently has a small points lead in the sde betting competition, but he told me if he goes on to win the grand prize (15 hours of tutoring from some of ITH's best players) that he would auction it off and donate the proceeds of said auction to COLOMBIANITOS. (No wonder we all like that guy!)
The COOLEST thing by far though is that because ITH is the BEST ONLINE POKER COMMUNITY. PERIOD, this little side show has raised a little over $1,000 for COLOMBIANITOS. Because of us, 3 more children in Colombia will be able to attend school next year - with a little left over for art supplies or maybe a few soccer/footie balls.
The only thing cooler would be if we raised even more money in the next few weeks.
