TPTK on the Turn facing a Donk Bet on Coordinated Board

Postby Damien » May 14 2010

ITM in a 27 man SNG. I bet the flop hoping to just TID... I can probably safely fold if I'm raised and I've got overcards if I'm called. So I get one caller and the turn gives me TPTK on a pretty damn coordinated board. Your move? I've got a feel for what donk bets mean when they're made on the flop, but what should the turn donk bet be telling me?

Looking at this in hindsight, it seems like a pretty clear fold. TPTK is a pretty weak holding on this board, especially since villain seems to like his hand...

It doesn't look great and you don't have much in the way of draws if you're behind. I'd be more than comfortable with a fold given you still have a reasonable stack.

Did you consider raising preflop? Stack size is a little awkward but I'd fancy taking this down.
