If it makes you feel any better, sb had you beat on the flop

I think you played this hand poorly. With your position, this isn't a hand you limp-its either raise or fold. WIth a dollar tourney, I'd be aggressive here, but if its between limping and folding, the reasons shown explain why.

You limp, and it looks like you are going to enter a multi-way pot with a hand you are out of position with that could easily give you a second best flop, when sb goes BAM and jams the crap out of it. The shove is stupid by sb, no matter his holding. However, it makes your decision easy.

It really doesn't matter what sb had-we already know he messed up. When it comes your action, you have invested very little in the hand, someone is all in who has you covered, and you have a potential caller behind you who has you covered. In short, if you continue with the hand, you are effed. In 2004 guys agonized over this and let it go-folding here is more than standard these days. TBH, because of the odds you gave him and with MP1 out of the way, I like MP2's play here better than yours.

No offense, but you played this hand pretty s****y. Me and anyone else who responds to your hand have played hands just as bad so don't worry about it. The point is to learn from your mistakes and a good lesson here is how to take advantage of stack size. Although the sb did a poor job of it, but throwing his weight around, he should have killed the action. At first, AQ looked pretty good for you. After sb acted, it became unplayable. If your chip stacks were exchanged, it suddenly becomes way more interesting.

Cowboy, Please know that I post hands to get honest responses from players. I dont care how brutal the assesment is, Coming from the regs on here, I know the comments are made from players who have a genuine knowledge of the game and I look forward to the comments.

Dont pull punches. Bloody noses make for the best lessons.

Ya big meany.

Thanks Cowboy.

No prob.

Looking at this again, too bad you didn't fold this and have MP2 call. I still think you played the hand poorly but if you get a read on sb that he will overshove with a2c just because he is the big stack, AQ suddenly becomes more playable. Against the range you assume in the hand shown, I don't like calling a big hand. If a guy is going to donk something like this, I'd prefer to get to him after flop and find a spot where I know I am a head. With a pre-flop shoving range as wide as he is showing, taking a stand with AQ isn't the worst thing you can do .

This is terrible. Limp UTG+1 and then call all in pre. with a hand that plays well heads up ..if you had raised pre...but plays poorly multiway. If you are going to play the hand, please raise for value. SB, while terrible, was actually trying to take advantage of the limp fest. Is this the situation you were hoping for? If so, you have to know that you will be in a multiway pot. And against a normal shove...you will be flipping or behind. Raise for value..suck in the Ace-trash hands
