... funny / scary looking back at this. It seems as if I didn't have much of a grasp of making my opponents pay to hit their draws back then.

There have been some posts in the past about this, but it is really interesting and scary to look back at the first posts of anyone. And I am no exception. The thought processes that one goes through in the early stages of learning a game as complex as poker are quite amusing.
