TPNK after blind steal meets aggression

Postby ResumeMan » Dec 02 2010

This villain was either pounding away, or he wasn't doing anything at all (24/24/2.2).

Spiking the Ace was I right to let him fire away here thinking I'm ahead a large fraction of the time? Should I fight back? With the potential straight draws but villain appearing to give up on the river, should I vb the river?

Going into calldown mode after BB's flop c/r seems entirely reasonable to me. I wouldn't want to scare off worse hands or spew to better ones. On the river, any TP surely must be a value bet after he checks, no?

I don't see much downside in betting for value here. He will probably bet most decent Ax hands (AJ or better) himself, and you split wil A8, A7 and A6.
