QQ on A-High Board - Keep Firing?

Postby ResumeMan » Dec 02 2010

Hi all,

So let's see if anyone's reading the SH board these days :) I've been playing 6-max limit again for the first time in years. I don't really know if I have any idea what the hell I'm doing at this point!

Villain was pretty LAGgy preflop but turned into kind of a calling station postflop (41/23/0.7)

Flop: (7 SB) AImage 3Image JImage (2 players)

Turn: (4.5 BB) 5Image (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

River: (6.5 BB) 9Image (2 players)

Am I just banging my head against the wall or am I getting some value with these bets?

On a ragged board like this I'd sooner check/call the turn and river (or value bet the river if he checks behind on the turn). On a coordinated board I'd tend to do the opposite.
