a change in 3-way pots

Postby Skrotnisse » Oct 11 2008

I used to check/call flop with flush draw when I have another player in the pot. But I should probably check/raise since it´s what I do with most 9x and 7x kind of hands, right?

3/6 Limit Holdem
5 players

Pre-flop: (1.5 SB, 5 players) Hero is BB :3h :qh
UTG calls, CO raises, 2 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls

Flop: :9h :7d :2h (6.5 SB, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, CO bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, CO folds, Hero calls

Turn: :qs (6.8 BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls

River: :2c (8.8 BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls

You really just want to call the flop bet or C/R. You want to keep the pot 3-ways with a flush draw. A raise might shut out the player behind you.

So what hands would you check/raise here as a bluff/semibluff instead?
