This is wrong, right?

Postby StarlightCoast » Aug 26 2009

Before I look foolish at Poker Tracker I'll look foolish here first. Is the way my PT2 is figuring bb/100 wrong? It should read about 8bb/100 should it not?

For NL, a ptBB is two BB. There's a checkbox in preferences to change this behavior.

</span><table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0" align="center"><tr> <td><span class="genmed"><b>Quote:</b></span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="quote">For NL, a ptBB is two BB. There's a checkbox in preferences to change this behavior.</td> </tr></table>
<br />

<br />
Although poker tracker 2 calculates NL in this method your bb/100 would not double but be cut in half. So if this was NL your bb/100 would be 4.46/100.
<br />

<br />
You are right, those stats are not correct, they should be 8.92/100.
The fish are in the river, so you need to get there as often as possible.

This is Limit Holdem, not NL so it shouldn't do this at all, and i found out why. This is weird.
<br />

<br />
I play .50/$1 Limit Each and every hand in the hand history text file tells what stakes the hand was. That's normal. On Stars they do it like this.
<br />

<br />
($0.50/$1.00 USD)
<br />

<br />
The USD they put in for some reason makes PT calculate the earn double.
<br />

<br />
To test it, i took one of the files and removed the USD part and loaded it on a different database so i could compare the 2,. Each had the exact same hands, and low and behold the database where I had removed the USD the earn rate was accurate. Strange that 3 letters would confuse PT so much, but I have Poker Tracker 2 and not PT3 so that may be a reason in itself, i do not know for sure.
