i downloaded the 2 month trial, but i can't figure out how to make it load the database with players information? this proram is very confusing to me, are there any other programs worth buying that are more simple to understand?

I tried "poker sharpener" for awhile. It is a simplified HUD, much easier to use than some others - easier to configure etc... But it doesn't gather nearly as many different statistics, so is less helpful after the game. Instead of raw VPIP/PFr numbers, it uses an arbitrary 'aggressive/passive and tight/loose color coding system. More intuitive for quick decision making, but ambiguous in the 'yellow' part (which you can tweak) representing the middle. There is a free trial. Give it a whirl and see if it helps you. I switched to PT3 about 6 weeks ago and like most of it, but am waffling about trying HEM.
