Another victim of FPS, Fancy Play Syndrome-- need the correct opp to make moves/try to outplay them-- especially at lower levels where they almost all play at the zeroth or 1st level of thinking you usually do end up spewing chips-- even against the correct opp you have to pick your spots--not try to do it too often. -- Bugsbunny

poker game points

Postby RiverCascade » Oct 21 2006

As you may or may not be aware, PR has instituted an expiration date for their points. I have around 24k that will be expiring in January. They have bonus packages you can buy. Their biggest bonus available is for a $150. The great part is that it only requires 9 points per dollar. Any bonus purchased by exchange of points already earned, expires within 30 days. I'm just thrilled to have a way to use my points before they expire. I can earn 900 points in 3 days, pretty easily.

I registered at this site from the US and tried to access it from Canada and it blocked me. I was actually impressed with thier security measures, and I contacted them to rectify it. They requested me to fax some ID's and promised they will fix it in 24hrs. I had league games to play, so I faxed it over. 24 hr. later it was still blocked and I called them, then they promised it'll be fixed in the next 24 hrs.,...to make things short, multiple phone calls and several e-mail and 5 weeks pass and no resolution. Yes, I missed a lot of the league games. In 5 weeks they fixed it only after I requested the league hosts to try to contact them directly.

You know what the frustarting thing is,...THEIR SUPPORT IS SOME WHERE OVERSEAS, AND THEY HAVE THESE STANDARD WRITTEN RESPONSES. NO MATTER WHAT IS REQUESTED THOSE IDIOTS KEPT TYPING THE SAME OLD MESSAGE <Sir, please fax us your ID etc etc.,...oh, I did that 2 weeks ago,...Sir, it will be fixed in 24 hrs...........well it's been two weeks....yes, Sir 24 hrs and it wil be fixed,....on and on and on and on....>. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING. YOU CANNOT GET ANYTHING DONE WITH THEIR SUPPORT.

AVIOD THIS SITE IF YOU THINK YOU'LL EVER NEED THEIR SUPPORT IF ANY PROBLEM CROP UP.

PR has the worst CS of all the sites I played. They were also the highest bonus-producers of all the sites I played. I miss them terribly. The trick is to never need their help.

Has anyone played eurobet recently???
I have been playing there for the last few days and very strangely I notice so many drawy flops. Especially four to a straight or flush boards. I'm not saying it's rigged but it's kinda weird. I have played around 12k hands and I have been dealt quads 11 times. At first I thought the bad beats were a result of the very loose games but now I realise that no drawy boards are a rare thing there. anyone noticed anything similair or I'm exprecieng some weird statistical thing???

Antiquated

Postby yamiexup » Jun 21 2008

The PokerRoom GUI seems outdated to me.

Played there for 2 days and was missing many of the convenient options and overall better feel of other sites I have been playing.

Won a few dollars on the first day. Then, on the second day, after playing over 100 hands without any playable pocket cards, I had a brief connection problem. Lasted only a few seconds, but PokerRoom booted me from the table and I would have had to rejoin via a waiting list.

Didn't bother, cashed out instead.
