2. GOLDENPALACEPOKER, Site Discussion

Please begin here. (There is no pre-June '06 discussion thread. 24HourPoker had either morphed into GoldenPalacePoker or was bought out by them. See 24H Poker.)

Another victim of FPS, Fancy Play Syndrome-- need the correct opp to make moves/try to outplay them-- especially at lower levels where they almost all play at the zeroth or 1st level of thinking you usually do end up spewing chips-- even against the correct opp you have to pick your spots--not try to do it too often. -- Bugsbunny

Golden Palace Poker requires you to prove that you're 18+ to cash out, which is a quite rediculous policy designed to hold onto your money. (If they were trying to prevent underage players, they would require ID to deposit.) Customer service is terrible - you'd think that when I'm trying to cash out they'd be much quicker in hopes of retaining a customer. My local bank doesn't require as many forms of ID to make a withdrawl. The poker client itself is fine, and I found many fish, but with sites like Poker Stars processing cashouts so fast, there's no reason to play at a site that's this slow. I've been in the ID verification process for two weeks now, and once that's completed, it will still take days before my money hits Neteller. No thanks!
