Welcome to the Poker Psychology Forum

Postby Piemaster » Feb 20 2007

This is a new forum for discussion of the psychological, emotional and behavioural aspects of poker. Examples of topics that belong here are:

- Coping with Variance (bad beats, downswings etc)
- Tilt and how to avoid it
- Understanding your opponents behaviour
- The emotional fallout from poker and the impact it has on your real life.

It is also a good place for any questions about our upcoming book The Poker Mindset, both now and after it's release (currently scheduled for the second half of March).

While this is a poker discussion forum, I won't object if people want to discuss similar issues not relating to poker, providing they broadly fall under the heading of psychological, emotional and behavioural issues. However, if these topics start to take over, I reserve the right to revise this stance :).

If you find any spam on this forum, or discussions that you feel are getting out of hand, please notify either myself, Cyb or Nside via PM.

Have fun everyone
Piemaster
