Hi Everybody,

I'm not sure that I've chosen the right forum for this announcement, but it's the one that I posted in last week about my show with Ian Taylor and Arthur Reber about Poker Psychology.

I’m Al Schoonmaker, sitting in for Lou Krieger, who is in Ireland.

My guests are four successful cash game professionals and one financial planner.

Barry Tanenbaum is a successful pro, a columnist at Card Player magazine, an excellent coach, and the author of Advanced Limit Hold’em Strategy. He is also this month's guest on "Ask an Expert."

Roy Cooke has played professionally for many years, and he is the Senior Columnist at Card Player magazine, the former card room manager at planetpoker.com, a successful realtor, and the author of Real Poker, Real Poker II, and How to Think Like a Poker Pro.

Mark Gregorich is a former teacher who has played poker successfully for many years. He is a columnist and associate editor for Card Player magazine. Some people say he is the world’s best Omaha player. I can’t say because I don’t play Omaha.  And, if I did play Omaha, I wouldn’t play it with him.

Don Olney is the modern equivalent of the old-time road gamblers. He plays winning poker all over America, and he sends emails to our discussion group about Atlantic City, Biloxi, and wherever else he goes. In fact, right now he is in Tunica. For years he has been running classes in Las Vegas for our discussion group, and many of our members insist that he has greatly improved their games.

Tom Walter is an attorney and financial planner. He is also my neighbor, a fine poker player, and a member of our discussion group. I invited Tom because I’ve seen too many good players end up broke.

The show has two segments:
1. During the first 50 minutes, the pros will answer questions such as:
• If you had it to do over again, would you become a full time pro? Why or why not?
• Why are you a cash game pro rather than a tournament pro?
• What percentage of people who try to become full-time cash game pros succeed?
• Why do so few succeed?
• What are the best things about being a pro?
• What are the worst things about being a pro?
• If you had it to do over, what would you do differently in your first years as a pro?
• You have all played professionally for many years. What are the differences between you and the young people who are becoming pros now?
• What was your best decision as a pro?
• What was your worst decision as a pro?
• How big a bankroll do you need to become a full-time pro?
• If you wanted to quit being a pro, would you have problems getting a good job?
• What effects does being a poker pro have on your relationships with your spouse, family, and other people?
• What is the single most important bit of advice you can give to a new or aspiring pro?
2. During the final 10 minutes, Tom will discuss financial planning issues for pros such as health and life insurance, arranging mortgages, and accumulating retirement funds.

If you’re thinking of turning pro, you can’t afford to miss this show.

I can't figure out how to access this show. Rounderradio.com goes to a site for roots record label Rounder Records, which as far as I know doesn't have anything to do with poker. Maybe this show is really available on a different website?

Thanks for the redirection. Now maybe someone can help me with something else. I just got an MP3 player and have been loading music on it but have never downloaded a podcast. When I click on the link Jane gave it just starts playing on my PC, but I don't know how to save it as an MP3 file to load onto my player. Help anyone?

I don't think you can save it from the link I gave you but if you go to the initial page http://roundersradio.libsyn.com/index.p ... _id=344917 , right click the 'Pod' link and then 'Save link as...' it will download as an MP3.
