I've been reading an article on Ezinearticles that talks about the rigging of online poker which I have actually been allowed to publish on this site here:

Amongst other things like the irrationality of a poker site to rig their software and the infinately large security measures to prevent it, it mentions human behavior.

I thought it was quite interesting because people do become suspicious if they aren't physically able to see what is causing cards to come the way that they do.

Here is a snippet from the article:

Reasons for this natural suspicion lie in the fact that the mechanism controlling the outcome of an event cannot physically be seen. Unlike in a live game, you are unable to see the cards being shuffled and cut.
