Playing online while on vacation

Postby Martio8 » Apr 26 2011

Anyone know if you can play on the big three (Pokerstars, Fulltilt, UB) if you are on vacation and logging in from outside of the US?

PokerStars has stated that you can only play if you show evidence of residence outside of the United States - so no, they won't allow you to play.

It looks like they are demanding a bank account in the host country, a mailing address and in many cases a copy of a utility bill. Obviously, your IP address would need to be from the host country as well. This would be fairly expensive for someone who wanted to play from the states, so I don't think too many would do it.
