Regulating Online Poker in the US

Over 5 years:
32,000 new jobs
94 billion in expenditures
57 Billion in tax income

duh...it's a no brainer.

Those numbers feel pretty optimistic. I've read that Vegas generates around $1 billion a year in tax revenue, which would mean they see online poker as 10 times all of Vegas?

I still agree with the conclusion, but I find it hard to imagine the market is really that large. Some of the latest rumors have it that the big casinos are pushing for a protectionist law that would drive Tilt and Stars out to make room for US-based poker rooms. That would be interesting.
