DOJ changes stance on Wire Act

Great news for online poker. Note that this seems like a boost for intrastate poker. We still need a new law for interstate poker to help speed things along and make everything more seemless. An intrastate framework would be quite cumbersome and slow to develop.

They've been talking a intrastate network linking all of the Indian casinos and cardrooms here in California for a few years now, but nothing has ever come of it.

Reading what I have on the DoJ decision makes it look like there are no boundaries for internet poker here in the US. Except the UIGEA legislation will still need to be done away with so players can add and withdraw funds from sites.
Harold Camping was wrong. The world ended on April 15th, 2011.
