An updateThey released the TOC (table of contents) and it looks pretty good, but there was also some good news/bad news. The bad news is the release of the two volumes might fall into March. The good news is that each volume looks to be about 400 pages.

it looks like it has been pushed back to mid march now...however, i think mason has said that it has gone to the printers, so there shouldnt be any further delay!.
Why do it today when you can do it tomorrow?!
If it makes you money pretty quickly after reading it, does it matter how much it costs? Also if you wait until next year, you will be playing against people who have had a year to study it. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing - Edmund Burke

Harrington On Cash is now out through the publisher, but it will probably be a couple of weeks before you see it in your brick and mortar bookstore.
I have not read the book, but I do have a reservation. The book, according to the information I have seen, is about deep stack cash games. A deep stack cash game, and this definition is NOT from the book or the information about the book, is one where people have anywhere from 200 to 500 BBs. Will someone who plays in a capped buy-in $1/$2 game where the starting stack is 100 BB really find this book useful? To put it another way, will the concepts and strategies be easily transferable from a deep stack game to a capped buy-in game? If someone wanted to learn about strategies for a $1/$2 game, wouldn't they be better served to read one of the many books available for this type of game? We now have it available in our store and Free Gift Offer. It will be interesting to see the initial feedback on these books as they are highly anticipated.

Volume 3?Although Mason Malmuth did not reveal what it would be about, he has indicated that there will be a third volume of Harrington On Cash. Among the 2plus2 forum members, a workbook seems the most popular request followed by a short handed book.

I'm halfway through No. 1 and I love it so far. What I love about it is actually that I feel like I already knew most of the stuff.
That may sound odd, but it's nice to feel like your game is solid enough that what you read reinforces things. It has so far changed my mind on a few things, mainly some of the speculative hands I play OOP or from the blinds. He's also convinced me that I shouldn't set-mine with small pps quite so often, because I probably need greater implied odds than I'm getting. (I used to think about a 10 to 1 ratio, and he says it shoudl be more like 20 to 1.)
