Books for HORSE?

Postby Radford » Jun 16 2009

Are there any good beginner books out there for HORSE tourneys? I'm looking to start playing them, just to add a bit of variation.

Full Tilt Poker Strategy Guide - Tournament Edition is your best bet. There isn't anything other than this covers each of the five games in great detail.

Late to the party, but let me say I agree.

My significant other's sister is having some success playing HORSE which made the SO ask me about that game. The Full Tilt book was the first one that popped into my head to mention to her.

+1 for the Full Tilt book.

The Stud 8 chapter from Ted Forrest is worth the price of admission alone. The Seed/Forrest Razz chapter is great and I liked Mikey's Omaha8 chapter. Both the stud chapters from Grey and Sexton I found a little dry but get the job done

Just read books specialized for each game.

For razz, read Sklansky's white book whose title escapes me.
