when to quit (br related)

Postby cnburns » May 23 2007

I have a problem, quiting poker games. I can usually win but I just keep playing until I get busted or lose a decent amount. Most of the time, its a getting drawn out on a big hand, (this is live and online). Any tips on when to call it quits.

Thanks taz, It was good for me to read Pie's article again.
You know what happened, though. You put in bets when you were well ahead and you didn't pay any money when you were behind. If you replayed this hand 1,000 times, who do you think would go broke first? quote "nsidestrate"

Thanks Taz it was nice to read this article. I have been runing badly this week until yesterday. I was just in a 40bb +ev session that I almsot left when I was down 10 BB before I won. The table was weak and I had good info on the players playing so I decided to stick it out and I won. So reading Pie's comments made me feel good like I am on the right track. Just have to get used to grinding it out again on a daily basis.
