Site to Site BR question

Postby kinnipak » Jan 07 2008

I am curious to know what the consensus is on this...

Is it better to have have your BR spread over up to 5 sites or have it all on one site?

I have money on all sites that allow the ugly Americans....but am I better to keep it all on one site?...

I play micro limits....but if I put it all together I could comfortably step up to the "upper" micro's....limit only. I do like Tourny play too....like to keep 150 or so for sng's or tourny play.

Thoughts?

I think it is better to have money spread out. One reason is to decrease risk.

Poker sites in the past have bailed out and kept money from players (has happened to Matthew). While the big sites that take Americans are very unlikely candidates for this to happen, you never know.

The neteller fiasco also gives a reminder that what seems super-safe today might be trouble tomorrow.

When I was betting sports, I had a site get bought out and I had to wait a month to get the funds out. It was a lot, but it was only a small portion of my total role. Other sportsbetting sites have closed and left with players' money.

Another good reason is game selection. Multiple sites provides multiple opportunities to find fishies.

What was the neteller fiasco? I am playing in Titan Poker and was hoping to cashout to Neteller and pass the cash to another poker site.

Is Neteller the safest e-wallet available? (I'm not American)
