are a great date.
Excellent article, really enjoyed reading it. I seem to be a mix between Johnny and Larry though. I want to move up and improve my play, but still not risk going broke
If any I am probably more like Johnny, since I am not happy to just keep playing where I know I can win, but rather want to move up as high as possible.
Great read! And while I exhibit both Larry and Johnny qualities, I figure, for me, Larry represents me probably about 70%. I am more of a calculated risk taker. I want to know everything about the risk I am taking before taking it. I have never or very, very rarely played above a limit I didn't think I could win at consistently. I do want to get better and play in higher games, but don't want to risk my entire bankroll trying. I've taken shots at higher levels before got beaten fell back down, worked back up and tried again. I feel that if you know how to handle and control your money you won't have to worry too much about going broke.
My progress so far could be summed up as "Slow and Steady". Before you believe in anything, always look for the beLIEve hidden within.
I have the bank to play 11$ S-n-g, but a tiny ROI. I want to see a better ROI before I move up. Though I am a winning player there is just too much I don't know nor understand about the game as yet. And I am not about to move down to 3.40 just to make a bit more money, unless my bankroll is seriously threatened. True, I might be able to earn more money against the fish but I the tilt and frustration I experience from bad play just isn't worth it. So to sum up I am striving for a better ROI though many say you can never know your true ROI, due to variance. I have nearly one thousand games under my belt and I think I need to see something better than an ROI of 4%.

are a great date.
Thanks for this article it has opend my eyes to some things in my own game that I am currently dealing with.
"Is it possible Wes is the devils own spawn
lol...sorry Wes, you drive me nuts in these games" Dead thread game 25 lmao
Great article. Larry is a good friend for staking Johnny when he goes broke. Even if I had a pal like that I don't think I could ever risk my whole bankroll.
