Downswing

Postby simmo5050 » Jan 23 2010

I play NL 10, 20, 25, or 30. I have c. 30 + BIs for NL 30. Since September, I seem to have been on a continual but slight, I suppose, downswing of about 1 x 30BI a month. I play quite about 2 hours a day on average 1-3 or 4 tables often.

Perhaps, this is not a long downswing nor even a bad one but I feel as if I am making no progress at all.

What tips or advic can anyone offer me. (Bit fed up at the moment)

Lancey Howard: I recollect a young man putting the same question to Eddie the Dude. "Son," Eddie told him, "all you paid was the looking price. Lessons are extra."

Going by what you said in another thread you really need to get a HUD like Holdem Manager or Pokertracker. It really is essential to have as much information as you can about your opponants. You can also review your own hand histories to find out where you're going wrong. You'll probably find that you're making the same mistakes over and over again without learning from them.

Ta for the advice. I am almost certainly going to get one soon.
