[Doc T River]

Here is a game I got people to play after getting knocked out of an amateur texas hold'em tournament. It combines elements of Omaha and Crazy Pineapple along with Arkansas. Like Omaha, you get four down cards, but like Crazy Pineapple, you have to discard. As in Arkansas, the flop, turn, and river are reversed. In other words, it is burn one and turn one, burn one and turn one, burn one and turn three.

You start with four cards, the river card is laid out, and you discard one. The turn card is laid out and you discard another card. Then the flop is laid out. As in Texas Hold'Em, you can use one of your hole cards, two of your hole cards, or none of your hole cards.

My signficant other thinks I am crazy for coming up with such a game, but after a while she warmed up.
