I am starting to think I do not understand omaha as well as I thought. this hand was in a 1000 point freeroll. 4 clubs on the board and I hold the ace of clubs. I lose to 2 pair? sorry for the hand format it is off their site. I have a screen shot of the hand if you would like to see it. I just called what I thought was the nut flush since I was expecting a chop with the low. notice the villian has the 6c for a flush also. my nic on that site is prossound. I am sure I did not play the hand that well as I am just starting to play other poker games. but help me understand how hand strengths work in omaha. I thought it was like holdem with more cards. sorry if this rambles I am frustrated.

You have to use exactly two of your hole cards and exactly three cards from the board in Omaha.

I did not realize that thank you. I started to think that may be the case after I posted.

You could have made the bare ace bluff here, if villain is capable of folding any non-nut flushes. The bare ace bluff means you bet as if you had the flush, but you only have the ace from the suit. If you can "tell" them that you have the ace high flush, they will fold.
