Discussion of hands from APLO series

Postby Huffie » Jan 24 2012

Hi, I see that there have been hardly any posts on this forum in the last year or so. Is this still the right place to discuss hands from Jeff's books -- or any of my own hands that I am trying to play well?

I don't really like to post on '4' as they all 3bet trashy hands in the blinds and pat each other on the back when they get into trouble doing this and lose

Hi Huffie, if you post some hands from the book I'll let Jeff know to see if he has some time to discuss.

Yeah, stay away from sqrt(16). That's exactly how they are. Also going all in with top 2 all the time.

I really wish this forum revied, because I got some really good advice here.

There are also a lot of things I'd like to discuss about APLO. Like in vol1. p.158. Hwang puts his solid foundation for playing hands in his books and then gives hand examples like this one, where he limps with garbage in CO. I'd limp this in the BTN, but CO? Then he calls a raise when he's almost guaranteed BTN won't fold. And not a word of explaination. There are more hands like that. I wish Jeff would write a vol.4 and put it all together and really did what he says (as in played how he tells you to play).
