This is testing the new me :)

Ive decided this year to not let much bother me and just concentrate on stuff that is important to me and making sure im having a happy and fulfilling life.

The old me would let today's game affect my mood and would without doubt be counter productive in real life aspects ...

Well not any more .

If Fergie decides to over use players that are just too old and basically refuses to accept that this is his biggest problem .. then thats fine .. hes the manager and he can fek up in whatever way he pleases.

His team selections nowadays baffle me ... why bring back De Gea today when we know hes not great on crosses and Liverpool will be playing Carroll up front ..

United can have all the possession in the world but wont create anything because our midfielders are too slow and offensively they dont get forward enough ...

Its ok to play 5 across midfield .. as long as some of them can get into the box a lot and help our strikers.

Our strikers are being made to look average because they are just being isolated and dont have the chances to make an impact.

honestly ... whats going at United lately is just boring the pants off me.

I'd like to point out that I am also ruling myself out of being the next England captain - just in case there was any speculation 8)

If I hadn't already retired from international football I'd be up for it.

Bad week to not have RVP as captain in FF this week, fortunately I changed it last minute. Keeps me in contention with TP at least.

The captain system is a lousy feature. Always has been.

I disagree, it brings an extra element of skill (or luck depending how you look at it) to the game. However, this season, not captaining RVP (especially at home to Venkys) is like folding aces preflop.

Went to watch Worcester Warriors yesterday, watched Chelsea - Man U on telly today.

The only plus I can think for football at the moment is it was considerably warmer!!

I'm not blaming Webb (its my new seasons resolution) but I do feel that maybe the FA do need to review diving after and hand out some punishments. In fairness it was impossible with players falling over more than Bambi on ice. As it is diving is a no-lose proposition so its no wonder its becoming more rife.

What a save by De Gea btw from Mata's free kick, one of the best saves I've ever seen.

You're right we should be talking about this and Mata's goal - you know - the good things that happened!

Anyone else see Sturridge and Welbeck chatting at half time - both covering their mouths so they couldnt be lipread?

Stunning save and fantastic goal. There was a much better analysis before the Liverpool/Spurs game tonight than on MOTD (surprise, surprise). The way Mata caught the ball was fantastic.

Nearly puked tonight when Alan Parry talked about a fairy tale return if Suarez scored.....he wasn't coming back from a life threatening illness or near career ending injury you tool. He was quite rightly banned. F*** him.

This doesn't look so clever either

(though I'll grant it was just a terrible attempt rather than malicious)
