Couple of conversations from the last week:

Colleague - Are you going to reply to that email? (request for some stupid additional work)
Me - No, my "f" key is broken and I'm going to need it at least three times in the next seven characters

Different colleague (higher grade) - Are you trying to make me look stupid?
Me - No - that's the one thing you're better than me at that

Yet another colleague (even higher grade) - Wow this is amazing - is it all your work?
Me - No, I googled "how to put this shit right" then copied and pasted

I'm really not cut out for office politics!!

I haven't had the nerve to use this to reply to a stupid question from a coworker yet, but I'm tempted constantly.

I'm really not cut out for office politics!!

I hate office politics ...i had worked in office type jobs from the age of 16 to my mid 30's ...

In that time ... ive worked with some of the biggest prats known to man .. nothing worse than some geek type individual abusing his position and trying to give people who are afraid to lose their job a hard time... that used to so wind me up.

Ive had many a slanging match with idiots like this over the years .. , ive been told many times i have a problem with authority..

Thats why i have a office at home now and only work for people i get along with ....

Some would say .. im probably broke and out of work now then ..

My boss said he'd spoken to his Line Manager who asked why I hadnt copied her into a certain email.....

"Because I f***ing hate her"

I think he toned it down slightly
