Book recommendations

Postby Dogs » Dec 05 2011

I'm looking for a Christmas gift. It must be Kindle compatible, and I'm open to most suggestions with the exception of sci-fi and fantasy. Non-fiction would be considered if it's something outstanding.

Anything particularly hot at the moment?

Wade - thanks. I've never heard of it, but reviews certainly back up your recommendation!

Damien - Larsson is on the radar. My main concern is that because it's been around for a while and there's been a film, they may have already been read. That said, I've been looking into the terms of gifting Kindle books, and it appears that the recipient can easily exchange for others or Amazon vouchers.

Older still, but The Ring Trilogy was one of my favorites: Ring, Spiral, and Loop - by Koji Suzuki
