Wynton's Article on the Internet Gambling Enforcement Act

http://www.internettexasholdem.com/poke ... ement-act/

"On July 11, 2006, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted in favor of the “Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006,” a combination of two prior bills. While the prospects of the Senate passing similar legislation this year are uncertain, it nevertheless is important to understand the scope of the bill, if, for no other reason, that it may well be reintroduced next year."

Texas Hold'Em Odds and Probabilities, Matthew Hilger

This is my next book to read and I'm sure I'll read it many times as I've read Hilger's other book 'Internet Texas Hold'em' about 8-10 times (no lie). Hilger's 1st book is my bible and the best book to learn Hold'em from (internet or live) in my opinion.

Here's what others have wrote about 'Texas Hold'Em Odds and Probabilities'.

HowardSchwartz of CasinoGaming.com wrote:This is a book which has to be read and re-read, with salient ...

MTT forum FAQ and collection of great insights

FAQ and collection of MTT wisdom

Your moderator: Poker_Elmo

How many tables are in a multi-table tournament? If you are posting about a single table tourney, please post in the SNG section. I don’t know if there is an official “line”, but I would think that 2-table SNGs should go the the SNG forum, while 5-table SNGs probably should be posted in the MTT forum.

Is this only for NL holdem? No, although the ...

Etiquette and Guidlelines

The Vent, Rant and Rave Forum is a place for all ITHers to come and share their badbeat stories, painful losses or gut-wrenching eliminations from tournaments. It is also a place where the ITH players can come to revel in their victory or enunciate their latest wins. Some come here only when feeling the cold fingers of poker rejection. Others come to take solace in other people’s misery when they are running bad themselves. Still ...

Greetings From Forum Moderator

Go figure! The Vent, Rant and Rave forum and Piscivorous go together like Abbott and Costello, Peanut Butter and Jelly, or Death and Taxes.

Obviously, when first approached by Ciaran for a moderator position, I scanned the list and found no one had the guts to take this forum over.

And naturally, I felt I was the person for the job. I've been lobbying Matt to change the name to the "Piscivorous Whine, Moan and ...

You should use Cybrarian's Hand Converter when you post a HH

When you post a hand history for comment by others, you will find that you will get more comments and it is easier to read if you use a converter. In my opinion, Cybrarian's Hand Converter is the best one out there and it was written by one of our own, which adds at least 20% to its value.

This thread would also be an excellent place for you to tell Cybrarian that you think ...
