New to ITH due to an invitation through "Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time: Vol. 2." Love both Vol. 1 and 2. I am a big fan of Rizen, Apestyles, and Pearljammer, so it seemed like a logical next step to see what was going on here. While I don't see them on the boards much, I am happy to see one thing on this board that I have not seen elsewhere - a complete absence of "flame wars!"

Instead of just launching into some of the more obtuse posters as some members do on other sites, most just gently point them in the right direction, or just ignore them altogether. Good strategy.

I love MTTs mostly - have had modest success with them throughout the years. Have just recently decided to stop playing STTs as I find they drain my energy, and I just can't stand the low ROI that you have to put up with in them. I have recently discovered a knack for 6-max mtts as well as Omaha H/L mtts. However, I mostly want to improve my bankroll so that I may graduate to higher buy-ins. No more withdrawals!

I can understand that. I start and stop a lot on mine, but have been much more consistent these past few months.
