Greetings~ My name is RiverCascade.

<p align="center">ITH and NMF (NEW MEMBERS FORUM) FAQ's and LINKS</p>The purpose of InternetTexasHoldem.com ("ITH") is to provide a place to share information, ideas, and knowledge about poker strategy to improve knowledge of the game. It is a community for sharing stories of general poker interest such as progress in one’s game, announcements and results of tournaments, and sharing reviews of poker sites and books.

Anyone who is registered may post in the Forum. Registration is free. Email addresses are not sold to any outside parties nor are they used to distribute mass announcements.

If you would like e-mail notification when someone replies to your post, be sure to select the box for "Notify me when a reply is posted" when submitting your post. It is directly below the box/window where you type your post. Also, select that option in your Profile. The Profile link is at the top of every forum page. To watch topics you haven't posted in, the option "Watch this topic," is directly below the page number of the thread, lower left corner.

On the Forum Index page, there are several useful functions in the top right corner. One is "View Posts Since Last Visit". Here you can see all the posts made since your last logon. Another is "View Unanswered Posts". Everyone likes to get replies for their posts so that is a good link to help out other Members.

If there is a particular Member whose posts you like to read, go to the Memberlist and select the particular Member, or do a "search" for that author's name.

In an effort to maintain the high quality of this Forum and to keep the focus on strategy and poker community, please abide by the following rules:

• All members must be respectful of other members and their opinions at all times.

• Posts which are abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws, are not permitted.

• While the administrators and moderators will attempt to remove or edit any objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. If you spot any such posts, please notfiy the moderator of that particular forum, or the webmaster.

• Website names, URL’s, and links, are not allowed in a member's username or signature, with one exception. You can post a link to your pokerblog's entry at www.pokerwonks.com (feel free to submit your blog there if you're not already tracked).

• Posting of links and URL’s is restricted and must meet the following conditions:

- The poster must not have any vested interest in the site.

- The poster must have made no less than 10 posts before they can post links. This is to dissuade newcomers from posting links to URL’s where they might have a vested interest.

- Links are not allowed to sites that are direct competitors of this site. A direct competitor is defined as one that advertises special offers for joining poker sites.

- Links to outside content such as listed on our Links page should be relevant to the discussion at hand and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

- Links to other pages within ITH are allowed.

- Links must be to a specific article, trip report, or post, that addresses a specific topic on poker strategy.

- Links or posts about special bonus offers of various poker sites are not permitted. If there is a bonus that you feel would be interesting to other Members, please send a private message to Bullajami, moderator of the Poker Bonus Chasing Forum for evaluation for inclusion in that forum.

• Moderators will delete posts we believe do not follow the Forum guidelines. You will receive an explanation as to why the post was deleted.

• Please make your posts in the appropriate forums such as “Poker Strategy”, “Hand Examples”, etc. Please do not use the General Board for discussion of topics that have their own forum, or it will be moved.

If you spot a post, or receive an e-mail or private message through this messageboard which you believe to be spam, please contact one of the Forum moderators. The moderators' names are in the upper left corner of each forum's index page. This is a large job and your help in keeping our community friendly and spam-free is appreciated!

This website is supported by revenues received for advertising poker sites and other gambling-related sites. ITH is not a place for people to advertise or discuss other poker portals which compete directly with ITH, nor poker site bonuses which compete with the advertisers who pay for exposure on the site.

• Advertising. We are now accepting advertisers interested in purchasing banner ads. For rates or questions, please e-mail the above address.

• Poker articles. We are looking for people to write a monthly column to be included in the website. Generally, there must be a strategy focus.

• Poker authors. Matt Hilger's publishing company, Dimat Enterprises, Inc. is seeking to publish poker books. If you write a good book, we'll take care of the rest including editing, typesetting, printing, marketing, and distribution.

Live Chat with ITH Members through website: At the top of any ITH page you will see a "Forum" option in the black section, directly below the ITH logo. Hover over "Forum" and you will see ITH Forum Chat. Click on that and you will directly link with the chat room through ITH.
