Just joined up and looking forward to picking some peoples brains. currently I'm trying to build a bankroll out of nothing on fulltilt. Have a rough plan for doing that and just work up levels from there. Trying to get enough to play .05/.1 limit and just go from there. Ive been playing as a fish for a long time and trying to change that. I think limit will be a good place for me to iron out all the basics and really try to start understanding the game.

The limit section's been pretty quiet of late, but if you look back through the older posts you'll find some useful discussion there. And don't let that deter you from posting your own hands there because there'll always be someone willing to put in their two cents' worth.

what are some of the more lively threads here on the forums? I deally I'd like to work at tournaments and NL but with the way I'm starting I'd like to keep the variance as low as possible for awhile. trying to build up a large play chip BR and enter the 500k $40 tournaments

I guess MTTs and NLHE, but you'll find anyway that, unlike certain rowdier sites I could mention , ITH is more a community of people with an interest in poker rather than an obsession with it. You'll receive a considered response wherever you post.
