Greetings from the Lone Star State

Postby Mr. Reload » Aug 18 2011

Hey everyone,

I figured before I started posting anything of use, I would introduce myself. I've known about this site for a while now through my best friend (don't tell him) Matt (Coolfish7). I also know Chris, but only from my brief encounters while in Vegas. Anyway, I've been playing poker for about 6 years now and mostly played online until about 2 years or so ago. To make a long story short, I used to play a lot of 6-handed cash online then switched to 45 man SNGs and MTTs on FTP once the site I was playing cash at (Cake Poker) started to dry up. Now, due to the fact that the US government hates me personally/Black Friday came, I have been playing a lot of live full ring (sometimes short-handed) cash games (Mostly deep 5-5 and some 5-10 NLHE). As of the end of July I have been playing professionally. In the short term it's looking good :) (Which we all know means absolutely nothing haha) Regardless, I am very excited to be making this change in my life, though it shouldn't be a huge difference in playing time since I was putting in 20-30 hours a week while I still had a job (I know...FML). Now that I will have a lot more free time when away from the table I am looking forward to posting hands/responding to posted hands to continue the cycle of improvement. Hopefully I can learn a lot while I am here in addition to providing what insight I can!!

PS I will be at the Winstar Casino in OK at the end of August/Beginning of September during their big tournament series. If anyone will also be attending, I would love to meet y'all!
