Playing multiple MTT and still keep a good decision making!

Postby ktraderk » Jun 26 2010

I have read both "Winning Poker Tournament I and II", they are so insightful and increasing my chances of reaching to ITM or final table. However, I only play 3 or 4 the most $4.4/180 MTT at the same time. I wonder if anyone had read these two books and been playing more than 5 MTT at the same time and consistently making to final table? Thanks for any advice!

As far as i know in MTT, most important thing here is the stack, which the average stacks have more freedom to operate than short stacks, because they aren't quite in all-in or fold mode. We consider any stack between 15 and 40 big blinds to be an average stack.

Even though these players aren't short stacked, they still have to be aggressive to combat the ever-increasing blinds and antes.

I agree especially in late stage of the game where I use "M" to determine my all-in decision when I am in short stack! However, most of the players in this game are super aggressive to go all-in even in early of the game...sometimes when this happen it is hard to determine what ranges of hands I should called their all-in!!!

Anyway, I am currently playing the most 4 MTTs in which averaging of 18% ITM but when I play more than that I started to lose control of the quality decision making on when and what hands should I go all-in??

also if I play more than 4 MTTs, I am losing track on the players and notes should be taken for later use!!! Maybe I am just not play or practice enough to play a lot of games at the same time, if I do it might come naturally
