agree, with 3 players (2 opponents) on the flop you could consider taking a stab at this pot, but with 5 players on the flop playing for set value is fine imo

+1 you might have the best hand, but you are out of position and one of the blinds could certainly raise. This early in a tournament I play this for set value unless there are no overcards on the flop. Even then I have to proceed carefully. If I were in the BB here and it folded to me I would call.

I might even reraise here like 2.5x or so pre. You accomplish a few things with this.

You get just ok hands that called a wimpy 3x early tourny raise to fold.

If they all call and you flop your set your well hidden, as their likely to range you higher.

The way the hand played is good, but I think I might float the flop here and reevaluate the turn. You possibly have the best hand here and he is stabbing at it by betting pot with a mid pair. He also might not want you or someone else chasing the flush draw,,,his reasoning for betting pot.

He could have KQ, KJ. But I float to find out. Its a heavy flop bet, but I see reasons for it.

You could even turn your set or a flush draw giving you more outs.
