At the time though I was thinking that it's much more likely that BTN has QQ-TT than AK. 18 combos v 8. Plus I had built up a stack fast and was active. Plus I think a push looks a lot like AK here. A muscle move. Will he call with QQ-TT? I was hoping, but many recreational players will be too scared to call with all of those holdings. My thinking was a bit flawed, I believe, because there is so much bluffing nonsense going on these days that a raise to 2300 could be interpreted as weak by a lot more players than I suspected. So just play straightforwardly against unknowns that you will never has a history against and let them screw up.

I really think a push looks like AK, but perhaps I've been playing Rush Tournaments too much. I don't think a push is terrible at all, but I think 2300 is better.

I pushed and they both folded. Next time I raise to 2300. Not 3300, you've got to give them room to push.

I'm not really a fan of the shove - weaker players just fold their weaker hands so we're making them play perfectly against us. A lot of players in the $11 buy-ins I usually play would fold JJ/TT in a flash to a shove here, but might be induced to think they have some FE if you raise to 2300. Players are taught to be aggressive not passive so they are less likely to call light.

I like this 4bet sizing. I think as long as it's at least 2x it accomplishes alot of things. Sure it looks strong, but we can gather that a 3bet from villan is also strong. If an ace pops on the flop there are less combo's of AK but i still think this leans towards a QQorAK type hand.
