Villian seems pretty decent. Tightish. Hasn't really got involved alot. My image is relatively tight. Could villian be trapping here with a set? Would he really flat on both streets then fire out a river bet on a bluff? I doubt it. Could he play AA this way? Unlikely. If he checked the river, i was planning on betting again and trying to get value from a queen. To me, flatting the flop and the turn, then firing out a river bet, when i have shown incredible strength throughout the whole hand screams strength to me.

I may as well tell you now, i did end up folding. After weighing up the possible hands, i came to the conclusion that i have got to be behind against this type of player a majority of the time. What do you think?

I think he could have AQ here. Its a pretty weird line that probably means a set most of the time. But laying 3:1, I'd probably have to pay it off.

Not sure I could fold this - looks a weird line when surely a CR on the turn would seem more normal for a set (but then I'm greedy and would want to get all your chips!)

Only reasons I can think to lead out here would be if he was worried you wouldnt fire a third barrell with a monster or as a (rather large) blocker with something like AQ, I'm not sure KQ would call OOP pf though if he's that solid.

In a cash game I'd call as much out of curiousity but maybe in a tournament a fold is right.

Assuming this villain has played only like 50 hands with you I dislike his line with literally any hand. His line is terrible with a bluff, terrible with a nutty hand and terrible with a bluff catcher.

Anyhow his line won't work often enough with a bluff, nutty hands could squeeze a lot more value out of strong second best hands by check/raising on a prior street and bluff catchers are getting wasted here by donk betting now. If he turned a set with 44 that he was bluff catching with then just lol.

I'd call it off here and figure he's got some medium strength hand he's making a block bet with often enough to make it profitable. I wouldn't be overly shocked if he turned up a set and I'd thank him for donking a half PSB cause I'd be betting bigger if he had checked to me.
