Hand from 100K on Bodog

Postby redman7027 » Jul 19 2010

I busted on this one. 30 runners left

You are in the BB with 8 blinds with 44. The hijack bets 2.5 blinds.

Understanding the Payout structure is so weighted toward the top and the fact that I was having difficulty being 1st in I thought it was time.

Should I have wait?

This is an easy shove with quite a bit more than 8BB.

Yes a pair is great here. Can't ask for more than that when up against someone in late postiion. Of course I busted out Sunday 55<99.

There's no point in waiting. You won't necessarily get a better spot so just shove and hope for a flip.

Shove all day long. You don't have enough chips to wait for a better spot. You have to gamble and a pair is more than strong enough.
