50 post promo for WPT Volume IIIAnyone who makes 50 quality posts in the Multi-Table forum will receive Winning Poker Tournaments Volume III for free. This offer is valid until the end of the year. We expect the book to be a Fall release.
A quality post is defined as any post that contributes to discussion on strategy. Post a hand example, reply to a hand example, ask a strategy-related question, answer a question, etc. A non-quality post would be something like "Nside, why do you have so many posts?. Once you've made your 50 posts, send a PM to Ciaran with your mailing address and he'll be sure to add you to our mailing list so that you get one of the first copies once we go to print. For all the new Members - welcome to ITH! We have a great community here with some very good MTT players. We don't permit spamming or Members berating other Members, so hopefully you will find ITH to be a fun and instructive community to help improve your game. "It's not about the hand you put your opponent on, it's about how you think he will play that hand."
yah... what he ^ said (does this one count? .... joking of course). Tks for the promo/offer. Very cool & LOVE these books!! "I don't think I like your attitude" (Gavin Smith confronting Phil Ivey on Poker After Dark)
MJrose and Orifice - welcome to ITH.
Once you've made 50 quality posts, send a PM to Ciaran with your mailing address and he'll put you on the list so that you receive one of the very first copies once released. By the way, we've completed about 1/3 of the book so far and I'm quite pleased with how the first hands are coming out. hello from Greece(sorry for my English)
I'm big fun of your books ( i have all). I count them at the top of poker books. But WPT I and II are my favorite. I like also PLO books (its my favorite cash game). I start play more seriously MTTournaments after reading your books. So your promotion is great, i really look forward to read vol. III, but i want to post some problem hands from tournaments and my question is: you Mathew (thanks for your articles to) and the authors of WPT answer our posts? Also PLO hands answered by jeff? i really want your opinion... thanks again for your work giorgos
Rebeskes, welcome to ITH.
Hwang answers some of the posts in the PLO forum. The authors of WPT post rather infrequently, but if there is a big debate I can try and get them to post. I respond to some of the posts in the MTT forum but have been quite busy the last couple of weeks. We have a lot of really good MTT players though in the forum so you'll always get pretty good feedback on hands. If you really want some feedback on a particular hand, then send me a PM and I will see what I can do. Thank you very much, and I am very glad to be here. I am dedicated to becoming a better player. I have a long way to go but I hope that following this forum I will progress quickly, thanks again Matt.
